Alma Park Zoo is a great location for groups. There is heaps of grassed areas with BBQ facilities and you'll find we'll go out of our way to make your visit a great success.

We offer a number of packages but can certainly tailor-make a package to suit your specific requirements.

General Information

'Meet the Keeper' Presentations

During our Meet the Keeper Talks and presentations you will learn all sorts of interesting information about Squirrel Monkeys, Snakes, Crocodiles, Baboons & Koalas and you can even go into the koala enclosure and pat them.

Special Animal Food

Special animal feed is available from the Zoo enabling you to hand feed many animals including kangaroos, fallow deer, donkeys, emus, tahrs, wallabies and some of the animals at the Friendship Farm

Koala, Crocodile and Snake Experiences

Alma Park Zoo provides you with the unique experience of meeting a Koala, Snake or baby Crocodile.  This experience includes a complimentary photo (6x8) as a memento.

Palm Cafe

Our Palm Cafe has light lunches including freshly made sandwiches, wraps and rolls, hot food including burgers and pies, slices of cake, real ice cream and the best coffee in town.  The Palm Cafe also has a great selection of souvenirs as a memento of your day.

BBQ Facilities

Picnic and wood fired BBQ facilities are provided for your enjoyment, and there are numerous areas situated throughout our beautiful award winning tropical garden setting.

Bus Parking & Driver facilities

Alma Park Zoo provides bus parking facilities within the zoo grounds.
