Generations of families have enjoyed the 40 acre rainforest setting of Alma Park Zoo, the oldest Zoo in Queensland!  We invite you to:

• Pack a BBQ lunch and enjoy our free BBQ facilities under the shade of a rainforest canopy.
• Wander through our rainforest paths to find over 100 different species of rare and exotic animals.
• Delight in the antics of our baby animals born at the Zoo.
• Discover more about Capuchin Monkeys, Sun Bears, Baboons, Koalas, Crocodiles, Alligators and a large variety of snakes with our free Keeper Presentations run daily.  A timetable of our presentations is provided to you when you arrive.
• Enjoy a VIP Experience* with our Lemurs, Marmosets, Red Pandas and Eastern Quolls.  These activities are popular!  Pre booking your experience online through our website is essential.
• Take home a Souvenir Photo of a you cuddling a koala, snake, crocodile, alligator, dingo or ring tailed possum!  Souvenir photos can be booked at our Palm Cafe on the day of your visit.

Opening Hours

We are open everyday from 9am to 4pm.   The only day of the year we are closed to the public is Christmas Day and we open from 1pm to 5pm on ANZAC Day.

Admission Rates

Daily and Annual Passes are suitable for individuals or families visiting Alma Park Zoo.   If you have a group greater than 10 people visiting the Zoo,  you are eligible for some great discounts on entry and additional services.
