School or University Excursions
During the School, TAFE and University Terms, Alma Park Zoo provide reduced rate admission for excursion groups of 10 or more students wishing to learn more about exotic and native animals.
At Alma Park Zoo we have a wide range of both Australian and exotic animals all in our unique rainforest setting. We have over 100 species of native and exotic animals, please refer to “Alma Animals” section of this website to peruse all the species that are on exhibit.
Meet the Keeper Presentations
During our Meet the Keeper Presentations you learn all sorts of interesting and educational information about
- Reptiles
- Koalas
- Big Monkeys
- Black-Capped Capuchin
Please note: Keeper Talks and Presentations are subject to weather conditions. Visitors will be given a timetable upon arrival to the Zoo. Further interpretive information boards for many of our species are also displayed at their enclosures.
We have special food that is available that enables you to hand feed many of the animals including kangaroos, fallow deer, emus, tahrs, wallabies and some of the animals at the Friendship Farm.
